A receipe from Reader Digest ... stored here for future use (Lu think blog is a good organizer/storage of all our 'bits n pieces')
110 grams of everything. Flour, sugar and butter, plus 2 eggs, a teaspoon of baking power n another of good vanilla essence.
Cream the sugar and butter together before beating in the eggs and folding in the flour, then spoon sparingly into cases.
Cook for 20 mins at 160^C, n decorate once cooled.
The icing (200gs icing sugar mixed with the juice of one lemon) looks more professional if allowed to fill out inside the paper cases, rather than dribbled over the top.
See Susannah Blake's divine book Cupcake Heaven for further recipes and inspiration.

Who get to eat The freshest Fish of the day - the poor fisherman or the rich businessman ??
Answers can be either or none of them.
Either the poor fisherman because he is the one who caught The Fish
Or the rich businessman because he have the money to buy The Fish from the poor fisherman.
None is because the poor fisherman wants to exchange The Fish for money OR the rich businessman has no time to enjoy/eat the fish.

Time flys ......... coming months will be our boys' school examination and holidays follows.
So fast we have to end our 'shopping trips' because nowadays our 'big boys' have lots of their own programmes and activities and I don't think we; Lu & I together with our sons would be able to meet up during the school holidays for a get together. Lu if you are reading this take note that we have to do more 'shopping trips' before the holidays.
This week we did not have any 'shopping trips' because of the Monday holiday and also I just started on a $$$ project of my own. We continued our morning walks as usual except Friday because Lu's son has no school.
Lu, next week i think we need to do some planning re our 'shopping trips', '$$$', 'diet' etc. and hope by December holiday there is some improvement.

We these two shoppers are getting very active last week .... two days shopping in one shot.
On Tuesday, we decided to make a trip to new Ion Orchad. We took bus 502 express and alighted at the bus stop opposite Wisma. From there, we managed to find our way there.
Inside, its a new experience for me because it's a long time since I stepped into a shopping centre that is not crowded with people or shops with sales. Here I don't get to see those familiar shops near our neighbourhood shopping centres. Yet those names are not greek either. They are names/blands we can spot on magazine like Chole, Her World, Elite etc.
Enough of all the feast for the eyes we decided its time the stomach has a share. Then we set a rule : Budget with $5.00 for meals on our future trips. We had our meal at toast box @ wishma ... coffee + 2 eggs + toast for $3.90.
After that Lu suggested we shop at Far East Shopping Centre and after that took bus 105 direct home. We discovered that Metro is not there anymore. At Watson there we signed up as their newly launched membership card.
Come Thursday, we decided to go further because our boys will be home later and we decided to shop at Tampines One.
There we saw a few shops different from those we usually go and some are opened by local mediacorps artist. We really need to come out more often and start exploring and 'see the world'.
For meal, we had a chives 'pancake' and lemon sugar cane juice set @ $2.50. Later we saw a HK tea restaurant offering noodle & drink set @ $4.90 which is much a deal. In fact during weekdays there are lots of such promotion when come to food. After getting a blouse and pant for less than $50 at Dot.com and some bread at Yamazaki we proceeded home. It was a long journey.
Best of the day we stopped by at IMM Andersen for a coffee & pastries break...............
